A proper writers desk.

I got said desk at an auction.

Not ebay or some sort of similar online auction, but an auction auction, where I was given a number and had to nod at appropriate times.

The desk looks like this.

So then I started putting stuff on the desk.

Then there is also a a makeshift bookshelf until i can get the carpenter in.

This is my view. Usually it will have less snow.

And this is what it looks like with stuff on it.

Pretty snazzy.

For the last 18 months or so I have been writing with the keyboard on my lap, sitting on a couch, with the computer on a table in front of me.

It was not ideal. Although it did finish two books for me.

After one full day at this desk I felt much more like a writer instead of some dude on his couch.

Although I still need a chair as this chair is currently eating my back.

There will also need to be some enhancing of the environment as it currently looks like a storage room with a cool desk in it.

I have some posters ready to go, and some work like boards that will make me look uber professional.

Yesterday I was listening to an interview I did for a project, by far and away the best interview I have ever done, and combined with the desk, it felt really fucken good.
